It is the mission of the Southeast Michigan Veterans Service Center (VETS Inc.)
to provide any and all services possible for all who pass through our doors. Our
primary commitment is to the many proud Veterans who have worn the uniform
of our armed services. We strive to insure those individuals in need are treated
with the utmost respect and courtesy that they so richly deserve. We offer many
assistance programs for our Veterans. They include, but are not limited to:
Employment referrals, Financial assistance, Educational assistance, Legal referrals,
Optical referrals, Physician referrals, VA Pension & Compensation Benefits and
Clothing Assistance as well.

One of our greatest priorities is the care and well being of those Veterans whom
have become homeless. We provide shelter and hot meals for the Veteran who
may not have any place else to turn. Our mission with these Veterans is clear and
direct. We will do everything in our power to help our Veterans re-establish their
lives. As we all know very well, “Freedom is not free”. These Veterans put their
very lives on hold for the betterment of our Country, and we are driven to help
them in their quest for a satisfying and fulfilled life.

The Southeastern Michigan Veterans Service Center has served the City of Monroe
and Monroe County since 1993. The center receives no Federal, State or City
funding at all. The lives that the center has touched over the years have only been
made possible by donations from the public at large. Our commitment is to serve
our Veterans in need. For us to continue on this very worthwhile endeavor, we
count on the support from those who share our concerns for those whom put their
Country before themselves.
